Slider hacked

I would not advise using this slider. I installed it only 3 weeks ago and I thought it would have been the latest version and it was not. Once I installed the slider plug in it was hacked about 2 weeks later.My domain host is now doing a scan for me to make sure my files were not compromised. The plug in does not give me any options to update to the latest version. I have been e-mailing their support for help. They have responded quickly but their tutorials they gave me have been of no help. Below is a link to a blog site talking about hackers hacking this slider and other sliders. I wont be purchasing any more WordPress sites that use this slider or anyother slider ever again.
