slider in header

I am trying to make my homepage match your demo but can’t seem to get the slider to work correctly. I have a slider located in the body? I have an image in the header. I also have an image in the body. I have selected a featured image under page attributes. I checked the box on the theme options. I would appreciate your help. 🙂
