I’ve just installed Smooth Slider on my local machine setup. I managed to customise it initially and add in some slides. However now when I go back to make some changes on the settings page I’m unable to save the changes.

Every time I try changing a setting and clicking a the “Save Settings” button I can the following alert dialog pop up “Slider name should be selected!”.

I pretty-much can’t change the settings at all now.

I can’t find anything to select relating to the “Slider name”… am I missing something here?

    Cheers,
    Lee.

  • Hello @lee

    Thanks for writing to us.
Please go to Admin panel => Smooth slider => Basic Settings => miscellaneous tab => Multiple Slider Feature => Enable checkbox and save changes.

Now, again go to Admin panel => Smooth slider => preview => Type of Smooth Slider => Select Custom slider from list => New select box will appear just below => Select any Slider name and save changes.

Let me know if it helps.
    Thank you,

    Best Regards,
    Sagar.

    Hi @sagar.k,

Thank you for the quick response.

Unfortunately I’m still experiencing the same problem.

I can go to Admin > Smooth slider > Basic Settings > miscellaneous tab > Multiple Slider Feature > Enable checkbox…

…but when I click “Save Changes” I get the same “Slider Name Should be selected!” message?

I’m also unable to save any changes to the Slider. I’ve tried the suggestions from sagar.k. Under “Preview Slider Params” I have the drop down menu of “Select Slider Name” but there are no names on the list.

These are the steps sagar.k suggested:
First follow this process, Admin panel => Smooth slider => preview => Type of Smooth Slider => Select Custom slider from list => New select box will appear just below => Select any Slider name and save changes. Then, go to Admin panel => Smooth slider => Basic Settings => miscellaneous tab => Multiple Slider Feature => Enable checkbox and save changes.

    Can someone help me please?
