slider not working

Hi,

in order to show home page you need to create a page name it whatever you want like ‘Home’ and select template ‘Home’ publish the page.

Now go to admin appearance >> customize >> Home Page Settings -> A static Page

Now select the page you created as Home Page.

Post Page dropdown select a page on which you want to show your posts.

save the settings.

for your second issue paste below css rules in Additional CSs field of customizer

.blog-meta>span:first-child,
.blog-meta>span:last-child{
	display:none;
}

save the settings.

slider will display only on home page. To set any page as home page go to :-

admin dashboard >> settings >> reading

In the setting of Front page displays select a static page option and in front page drop down select your page to set it as home page. save changes.

Now about your drop down issue as we check latest version of theme. Theme is working fine.

It could possible that any of your plugin conflicting issue, try to deactivate your plugins one by one and check which plugin casing issue.

As I see you didn’t set ‘Home’ page template as front page.

Slider and other home content will only show when you set page template ‘Home’.

Goto Admin Dasboard >> Page

Select the ‘Home’ page you created

now in Page Attributes tab ( on right side) select template ‘Home’ and publish the page.
