Slider Widget Navigation Dots – move down

    Hi

    The navigation dots in the slider widget are covering the slider images. I would like to move the navigation dots so they are below the slider images. I have tried various things in the layout and the design and nothing I do has moved them at all.

    Is this possible ? and if so, what setting should I be changing ?

    Hi, thanks for posting your question. Unfortunately, the SiteOrigin Slider Widget doesn’t currently have the option to move the navigation dots below the slider. I’ve logged a feature request. Sorry I don’t have better news at the moment.

    ok well thanks for your reply. It would be very nice if the dots werent overtop of the image. It detracts from the image. I will look forward to it perhaps becoming a new feature.

    Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback and request; much appreciated. Perhaps Smart Slider 3 plugin can be of help in the meantime?

    Hi @yatgirl and @misplon

    Thank you Andrew for recommending Smart Slider 3, and yes that’s correct, our “Bullet” control:

    has a setting called “Position”, where you can select outer:

    • top
    • right
    • bottom
    • left

    positions, so the bullet control will appear outside thus it won’t cover the slide background images, nor the contents of the slides.
