    Hello,

I am using the openstrap theme on 4.1.1. Meta Slider has been working just fine. Today I upgraded my jetpack to the newest version and then the slider stopped showing up on our homepage.

    Our site is kearneyfb.org

Well, I go to the meta slider and realize that none of our images are saved onto a slideshow. I try reloading them (and it lets me), but it won’t save them to any slideshow. Everytime I upload a picture into the slideshow, click save, and then reload the page, all of the slides are gone.

I deleted jetpack, tried uploading, saving images, and then refreshing the page. Same issue. I deleted meta slider and uploaded it again – same issue. Any help?

  • Hi there,

Have you tried deactivating all of the other plugins and retesting?

    Thanks,

    Hey Dave,

It actually randomly started working the next morning. Me and the 2 other guys that work on the site have no clue why. We weren’t able to use custom menus or make any customizations to the site for awhile either. No idea why wordpress 4.1.1 and the newest jetpack would have had that effect.

    Thanks for the reply!
    Sean

    Hi Sean,

Glad it’s working now, that’s the main thing!

    Thanks for letting us know.

    Dave
