Slides Duplicating buttons

    Hi,
    I exported demo data on of the sliders by smartslider and while on preview, my buttons show unbroken, the buttons show duplicated with a small unwanted button below.

    Tried to think it is the theme but to no avail. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still buttons I introduce end duplicated.

    Please help, you know Smart Slider is the only slider we’ve got.

    Hi @mbuna

    Did you manage to fix the problem? Since I checked the linked page and the “About us” button appears fine on my end currently.

    Anyway these kind of problems are actually related to themes. Some themes have autop functions that fill the entire page with <p></p> tags and <br> tags. These are the elements that usually mess up the structure of the buttons.
    We also have a documentation about this topic, with some suggestions that cam help in fixing the problem:

    If the problem would still occur on other pages, could you check these suggestions please?

    Hi @laszloszalvak ,
    Thank you so much for your prompt and detailed response even though you saw the problem as fixed.

    The problem wasn’t fixed but since Smart slider is that Smart, I just currently added a text area, styled it with the background and linked it.

    I still would want to use the button slider and hope I will leave it for later when I feel up the home page as the bug started eating up my morale.
