Slides never load using NextGEN Gallery

I am wondering if any of the slide.com type sites work directly with ww.wp.xz.cn vs. .COM hosting?

I have yet to get any slideshow working, none of the plugins I installed are working, it seems to load and load and load indefinitely. Do these slideshows typically take forever to load? I have even tested using smaller image files and almost 6 minutes later, I was still seeing the loading image spool.

Please let me know if you have a solution.

I am using 2.5.

I am using the .94 NextGen Gallery plugin, and when I select the view as slideshow option, it just loads and loads the images, and never appears.

Integrate slideshow: [ ] show as slideshow
Show first: [ ] slideshow

When I try those options, under Gallery, that is where I run into the problem.
