Slideshow background for widget/page section
-
This question concerns a temporary staging site version of this website that uses this theme:
https://churchthemes.com/themes/saved/
There doesn’t seem to be a public support forum specifically for this theme (and the creator hasn’t been that forthcoming with advice on my question).
Anyway, as you can see, the site uses a setup with full-width modules with IDs like “saved-home-section-1,” etc. We have two of these with images for backgrounds, but if possible, I want the backgrounds to slowly fade between 4-5 images.
All of the solutions I’ve found involve creating a new slideshow in a post or page, but I’d like to fully integrate this into the layout and existing sections, if possible. This is the only pure CSS slideshow I’ve found that seems to work with existing sections:
But to create a slideshow you have to join all your images into one file and use CSS animations to pan around over it, which is pretty clunky and not working well with the image files I’m using.
Is there some way to put a slideshow in a widget background that I’m overlooking? Or can anyone point me to a pure CSS slideshow that can handle multiple images?
P.S. I’m sorry I’m not able to send the staging site (it requires a login) – if a screenshot of the site in progress is helpful, I could do that.

Moved to Fixing WordPress, this is not an Everything else WordPress topic.
I’m sorry but that’s a commercial theme and those are not supported here.
