Slideshow not loading, image overlay not working

I’ve recently upgraded NextGen to the latest version which caused:

1. The slideshow to quit working. It just continually loads. See example here: http://bit.ly/ZbF4nh

2. And the image overlay when you click on a gallery thumbnail to quit working. See example here:

I’ve read through many of the forum posts, fiddled with settings, etc. but to no avail. Please advise.
