I was prompted to upgrade WordPress to the latest version. On doing so my slide show stopped working. I have tried to update the page with the slide show link but this has not fixed the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme to check whether it’s an issue with your theme.

I deactivated all plugins but that made now difference. I also changed to the Twenty Seventeen theme but I could then only access one page (not the slides page). I am a novice using WordPress and so detailed instructions would be welcome.

Thanks for your help – but I appear to have inadvertently fixed the problem. I amended the Slide Show page and then updated the page. The slide show now works.

Having got the slide show to work 5 months ago it has recently stopped working again. I tried to fix the problem in the same way as last time (see earlier comment) but that did not work. Any ideas?
