Slideshow stopped working

    Hi,

    I have been using RPS Image Gallery plugin and REDUX Framework on a client’s website (www.jeff-thomas.ca) for a few years with success but recently it stopped working. When the thumbnails are clicked the slideshow no longer loads and only links to the attachment page. I am not sure exactly when or why this happened. It seemed to be working the last time I upgraded WordPress (the update before 4.8) and when I upgraded the other plugins the website uses.

    Any assistance with this would be appreciated.

    It appears there is a JavaScript error on the page located at line 95 character 23.

    TypeError: $ is not a function: var $active = $(‘#slideshow a.active’);

    Deleting the offending script removes the error and allows other JavaScript to function including the version of Fancybox that ships with RPS Image Gallery.

    We are not sure where the offending script originates, whether it is part of another plugin or the theme you are using. Recent updates to other plugins or your theme might provide a clue.
