Slideshow View – testimonials sometimes hidden

    Hello,
    Firstly, thanks for Strong Testimonials, really nice plugin! I’ve noticed an issue with the slideshow view. It appears to be an intermittent issue where the testimonial text is sometimes hidden. The title and read more link still displays, just the main text of the testimonial is hidden. Whenever I see this issue (it happens quite often), after refreshing the page the testimonials show up again. See screenshot of issue here.
    When I inspect the HTML I see that the span element containing the text has a class ‘hidden-animated’ whenever it is hidden. I’ve seen the issue happen across multiple different browsers and devices so it does not appear to be a specific browser issue.

    Any ideas?

    In case it helps here are the view settings I’m using:
    order: random
    quantity: all
    show: single
    transition: show 8 seconds then scroll horizontally for 1 second
    behaviour: start auto, pause on hover, stop on interaction, set height to match tallest
    nav: controls slides prev/next, style buttons, pagination none
    fields: title, content – manual excerpt, read more to expand content in place, custom fields – full name
    extra: read more
    style: modern

    Hi @acurran,

    Thanks for reaching out!
    I believe it may be an incompatibility with another plugin: Otter blocks or I think this is the name: Gutenberg Blocks and Template Library by Otter
    Is it possible to deactivate that? Does it fix it?

    I did test deactivating Otter blocks temporarily and I did not see the testimonials issue while it was deactivated so a conflict with that plugin does seem like a possibility. But I have used Otter blocks extensively in setting up the site so removing it is not an option. Is there any workaround or fix for the clash between Otter blocks and Strong Testimonials? And/or is there something specific that you can point to that Otter blocks is doing incorrectly that needs to be fixed on their end? Is it a namespace issue?

    Hi @acurran,

    Please add this code in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    .testimonial-content .hidden-animated {
	visibility: visible;
}

    This should fix it!
