Sliding comments on frontpage

Hi all

Currently I have ajaxedwp activated on my blog to provide sliding comment sections. But it’s a little bloated and not really what I’m looking for.

What Alex King has is pretty sexy, but I can’t find out what plugin he’s using for that. Click a link to slide open the comments, possibly with a login box, or comment section when the user is already logged in.

I can probably write a plugin that does what I want if I take 6 months off of work, but I’d rather take a look at what other people have developed or start with some rudimentary suggestions. My wishes aren’t that strange, I suppose.
