After the ‘_var’ text that appeared suddenly at the top of each page, I am seeing many problems on my site.
I upgraded the version to 4.3.2.1 but still the _var and all other issues that appeared with it remain.

I also tried disabling the add on and also removing it completely – these actions only solved the issue for the desktop using chrome, other browsers and mobile devices still show the _var and other graphic defects.

This is really crippling my site, any idea how it still appears after I have removed ?

About one hour after the removal, the var_ and all related effects have disappeared from all other browsers and mobile devices as well.
The site is now back to normal – besides the plugin that is…

Would be happy to hear your thoughts on the matter.

    Hi atgdax,

to me it looks like you have a caching plugin or server-side cdn system like Cloudflare. The “var_” string was picked up by the caching mechanism and kept there even after the plugin was uninstalled. Then it started to slowly disappear as the cached content expired.

    That’s all,
    Jason.

Thanks Jason, that must be it.
I’ll try the 4.3.2.1 version fresh now.

    Keep up the good work.
