Slow Admin Panel

The front end is blazing fast. However, the admin panel when trying to edit or add a post (especially custom post types) is incredibly slow.

I’ve gone through all the typical actions including removing plugins, changing themes, etc. The only answer I have left is that the options table it too large. There’s a lot of custom options inside each taxonomy. Is possible that this is slowing it down too much?
