• The wp-admin section has been running real slow since we started using Amelia. We watching the server resource usage with the plugin enabled and not enabled. The difference was dramatic. Amelia’s support did they own “testing” simple using the browser Inspector and timing page loads. Their response was “Amelia is already minimised to the max, and there is nothing we can do to speed it up.”. Hardly an acceptable response.

This plugin also has so many reporting flaws. You can easily see ALL financial transactions in one place and report by Booking or Event filtered by Employee. Then it doesn’t track the final tax and discount numbers back into Amelia if you use the Woo Commerce integration.

I’m am still looking for a replacement with the same feature set. I do NOT recommend this plugin.

Thank you for your honest opinion.

This forum doesn’t allow support for the full plugin, only Lite, so leaving a review here may be misleading to Lite users, since “On-Site” is the only option there is in Lite.

What our support told you is the truth, though. The plugin’s files are as minifed as they can be to speed up performance. There are no tweaks in settings that would allow the plugin to be faster.

The issue with loading speeds in back-end was related to the latest update, though, and our support managers can guide you through one file in our code, and resolve the issue.

Taxing can only be done within WooCommerce, and Amelia doesn’t handle tax, that’s noted in our official documentation of the plugin. We do intend on making the integration with WooCommerce better, but at the moment you cannot manipulate what’s carried into WooCommerce from Amelia, and vice-versa.

    Kind regards.

It is very slow and our developers have given up. Can Amelia look into this please. Why is it slow?

This is definitely a major issue I am experiencing right now on a client’s site and I need the fix asap. (The dashboard is running very slow)

Please post the answer here because I have seen this complaint different threads with no resolution upfront.
