The best thing would be if you could check that behaviour back with another browser, such as FireBird, Mozilla or IE. I locally checked wp 0.72 with Opera 7.10 (build 2840) and can’t confirm your report so far. Maybe it’s a non-generic problem.

Posting can be slow if you have pingbacks enabled and you’re notifying weblogs.com and blo.gs.

maybe it becoz of that coz the entries in database are done just the page takes a while to refresh… thanks mate!
I actaully noticed the same thing.
Normally that’s the pingbacks to weblogs.com and blo.gs
I find that while the admin panel is taking it’s time, the entry is on the public site immediately.

Well, my entries are published instantly, but I don’t think my site is pinging weblogs.com or blo.gs. I checked my friend’s blogroll, and after two days it still hasn’t shown that I updated. Where can I check to make sure that it is pinging?
