Slow load and high cpu usage

    Did you check the error log for any errors?

    No, we didn’t see any log errors.
    The machine has low memory (1 Gb), have upgraded to 3 Gb and now is performing well again. Maybe too low resources for LAMP when many concurrent connections occur.

    If Apache is running out of resources you will see a high memory/cpu usage. Waiting threads (which actually aren’t doing anything) go high on CPU. Each waiting thread also occupies 50MB of ram or more.
