Slow load time

I installed the plugin P3 – Plugin Performance Profiler and noticed that mqTranslate slows down the website quite a lot.

I came across this conversation and thought it might be useful to improve the future versions of the plugin:

I just tried the first two suggestions on that thread and the plugin load time is less than half as before.
