Slow Query – Pointless overhead

    Hello,

    Just updated to the latest version and on each and every page HTTPS request to the robots txt file is called by this query:

    DLM_Settings_Page->robots_files_checker_field()

    is being called. Why does this check need to be done on every single page call? its causing unesseary overhead. How can this be stopped???

    Thanks for the update on that Cristian – do you have any idea when the next release will be? I have a major client using your plugin, but this is causing some real speed issues for them as it is such a huge site.

    @terydinho – we’re working on a REALLY big release for DLM that’ll add a TON of speed-related improvements. We’re in the final testing phases of this release.

    However, I think we could probably squeeze in a hotfix in between 😉

    Watch out for this release hitting your dashboard sometime early next week!

    That is amazing, thank you @cristianraiber-1 – you’ll make my client very happy. And knowing a ton of general speed improvements are on the way too, is amazing news.
