What I suggest is downloading the plugin Super Cacher or the WP Cacher to speed up the loading time. If that doesn’t work, it may be some issues with your hosting provider.
I wonder if it is whatever’s pulling your recent twitter tweet. If you temporarily comment that out, does the sidebar show up quicker?
