    Hi,

Litespeed seems to make everything slow rather than fast.

When the Litepseed is enabled: the front end and admin area are slow. Version 4.2
When the Litespeed is disabled: the front end and admin area are faster. Version 4.2

Also Version 4.2 seems to use lots of server resources, i.e higher CPU.

After the 4.2 update the front end for unlogged in users is faster, but slow for admin and logged in users.

I hope you can fix these issues and make Litespeed as a light as feather with no impact on the admin end and logged in users and super fast for front end.

I had to disable the plugin for these issues.

    Kind regards

    Hi,

please provide the report number , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click “send to LiteSpeed”

and when you say slow and fast , do you have an estimation on timing ? like X seconds faster/slower ?

    Best regards,

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting back.

Since the the major 4.2 update everything seems to be slower. Perhaps it’s okay on smaller sites but with 300K posts sites it has gone very slow, front and back end. I would say about 4 seconds slower than it used to be.

Perhaps it is something to do with database etc. I had to disable it for now until things improve. Everything was fine prior to the 4.2 and 4.3 updates.

    Kind regards

I got a user reports that he had similar case and fixed it by clean up the all the plugin’s records in database and set it again up , please try it and see if it helps

go to toolbox -> export/import , export your current setting if you need.

    disable the plugin

then go to phpmyadmin or mysql command line , in wp_options table , find all rows that starts with litespeed. , delete them all

    re-enable the plugin

    see how it goes
