Hello, Since a few days ago (not sure when it started), the Meta for WooCommerce plugin has been causing severe slowdowns on the frontend of my site. Category and product pages are taking 20–30+ seconds to load. When I deactivate the plugin, the site returns to normal speed immediately.

Finding the same here, the response from our hosting company:
2 cookies are being set in the response header which is making the public cache like Varnish and Cloudflare to be bypassed, hence the page doesn’t load from the cache and the site loads slow.
Cache doesn’t matter because the plugin is bypassing it.
Convincing our client to just delete this plugin and be done with it. Everything Meta is garbage and I wish people would just stop using their products/platforms.
Hello @kristinubute I’m not part of the plugin support team, but they have resolved the issue on their end (no update required – from what I understand). I use the plugin on multiple sites and am no longer experiencing this problem.
It’s true that the major problem of the 20-second loading time has been fixed, but this plugin is still one of the biggest slowdowns on my websites. I don’t understand how it can be so poorly made and optimized.
