Slows down site

Is it normal that as soon as I activate this plugin, it adds approx. 1 to 1.6 sec of load time. I’ve pulled several reports using P3 plugin profiler and WooCommerce-qTML accounts for 53% of my page load time, even more than the actual mqTranslate plugin.
