Slug not changing

    I ran the plugin to change all of the image names based on the titles and it worked great. I then realized that I wanted all of the slugs for the images to be changed to the image name, so I checked the box in the settings for slug=filename and ran the plugin again, but it doesnt seem to be changing the slug for the images. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance for the great plugin and any help.

    Hi,

    This normally works fine, but of course, something else might be impacting this. If I provide you a fresh install, could you try to replicate the issue?

    I installed the plugin and have replicated the issue. You can see the slug for the one image that I have uploaded isnt updating with the plugin.

    How did you do it?

    I went to the Media entry, I changed the title, save, and the slug was renamed.

    Oh, ok. I had already renamed all of the titles of my images to what I wanted before I ever checked the “sync slug permalink”. After checking the “sync slug permalink” I was clicking the “rename all” button, thinking thats how you do it.

    Any way to get it to rename the slug based on the titles I already have without going back and renaming all of the image titles?

    Ahhhh, I understand, and no, it wouldn’t rename the slug after you check the option…

    The only way would be to rename your files to something else to re-trigger the Media File Renamer 🙁
