small bug with drop-down menus
-
Hi,
We’re having a little issue with the steady plugin version 1.3 in combination with divi theme. The bottom right popup box interferes with our drop-down menu, by positioning itself over the menu, even when the box is closed.
Here is a video of the issue https://somup.com/crXFIv0X8q
As a solution maybe the z-index of the box can be lowered, so that the drop-down menu can be displayed above it.
Or, maybe when the box is closed it can be collapsed (not just visually hidden), so that the drop-down can properly display over it.I hope you can help.
Thank you,
Dave

Hi Dave,
thanks for your message.
You’re right, this is an actual bug. Our Dev-Team is on it and it will be fixed as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconveniences and thanks a lot for letting us know about the issue.
Many greetings
Kim
Steady Support TeamWonderful Kim, thank you for letting me know 👍
Hi Dave,
thanks for your patience! Our developers checked all and could also solve the main part of this issue.
When the floating button is closed, it shouldn’t interfere with the navigation menu anymore. The other part (the dialog showing on top of the navigation menu) we cannot solve in a way that will satisfy every user’s needs, so you would need to solve this on your side.
Thanks for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any further questions, please get back to us. You can also always write to [email protected].
Many greetings
kim
