Further improvements

Hi,

As before I love your plugin and it works great.

I’ve noticed some things that can be still improved. Sorry but I can’t upload screenshots here, I can send them over email if you want.

• 3 links at the bottom of admin page are clickable at all page length, first one “Donate” is designed correctly. Some small CSS corrects will improve this. Also it would be nice to stretch white page to whole screen so that grey part will disappear.
• Check mark in checkbox on Required option is not centered. Same with check mark after saving form. Also centering checkboxes vertically with text would be nice.
• Keyboard bindings like Delete on selected field would be nice.
• Context menu on right mouse click on fields would be nice.
• Bigger font/bold font on group of field settings like “Margin” or “Icon Padding”.
• Number field – would it be possible to limit input to min/max number length?
• Search on fields – I think it should automatically focus on input field so that I won’t have to click on it with mouse. Also clicking X on search should show all fields, that is not how it works right now, I have to enter backspace key for all fields to show.
• I don’t think that Submit button should have “Required” checkbox. Also something like “Text” would be more intuitive than “Default Value”. Also shouldn’t that button be always at the bottom of the form? Right now I can move it freely and add inputs after that button.
• Required checkbox – it adds value to CSS input. Is it possible to add that asterisk at the backend? I don’t want to somehow broke that if I wanted to put my custom class.
• Preview – is it possible to do preview based on edited but NOT saved form? I wanted to do some changes on production form but don’t want to save it for users to see it.
• History/version control of forms would be awesome.
• Date field – it would be great to have custom formatting. Included ones are okay but for Polish people we use mostly dd/mm/yy or dd-mm-yy which I cannot choose. Also it should be optional to pick hour/minute and if time is not included date should be chosen by clicking on calendar day without “Set” button. Also two list selectors at the top have no values, specifically “nice-select month-select” and “nice-select year-select”. Also I cannot change blue color (#007bff) of the picker and it would be nice to change that.
• Settings scroll is remembered after switching to another field. It would be nice to have it everytime at the top.
• Sometimes fields have “admin” CSS class. I am not sure what it means and if it is necessary.
• Editor sidebar – it would be nice to have some button to expand that sidebar to have icons with texts right next to them.
• Form Settings – right now it is small rectangle on my screen. It would look nicer to have it stretched and maybe input with toggle right next to each other on bigger screens.
• Notification Settings – if no notifications are created I think that only “Create Notifications” box should be displayed. Right now there are two boxes with the same button. Also I wonder if it would be more user friendly if you put Save and Delete button on the top right as in the form editor instead of in the Send Email box just to keep consistency. Or at least color/bold it somehow different.
• Other Settings – same as Form Settings. Box should be at least centered if small box.
• Entries – check mark is also not centered on the green circle. Also that screen should firstly show what form you want to see, right now it shows entries from all forms. Also is that beige background (rgb(245 243 235)) necessary? I think it would look nicer if you made it without margins and that color as the rest of the admin page looks like. Also cursor on hover and highlight on click doesn’t make sense, at least implement function to copy it to clipboard on click. Also I know that it would be hard to do but I wonder if there is some better way to display field ID for my customers – right now I can see firstname lastname etc. Also “Browser/OS” should be aligned somehow close to other informations, those infos just needs proper placement and formatting.
• Form Preview – is it possible to display form name instead or in addition to header “Form Preview”? Also showing at least WP admin bar would be nice.
• Field selection – it is nice to see what field is selected and also what I’m hovering on but that bracket is slightly hard to notice. I think that just straight colored bar of 3-4 px wide would be better.
• I’ve had some issues when sending emails (some domain DNS stuff) but some entries were already in. It would be nice to have some button to resend that form after I’ve fixed that issue. Right now I could only export data to CSV, then format it to Excel and then send it to my customer (I had version before Excel integration).
• Name Field – if selected only first and last name then in the Entries page middlename is also included with empty value.
