Smart Compression killed the plugin

    Stealing the freedom of customers to deceide, which compression they prefer was a horrible decision. Now 90% f all uploaded images become useless and need a manually re-triggered lossless compression, a manual process that is quite time-consuming.

    Therefore this plugin hase become simply USELESS! It demands to be a timesaver, but the opposite is reality. The so called “Smart Compression” is the worst thing the WP Rocket teams was able to implement. And so the WP Rocket team killed their own plugin without any comprehensible reason. Thanks for nothing!

    We are really sorry to hear about that!

    I would like to inform you that we will re-introduce a lossless option in Imagify (v2.1).
    However, I am not able to provide an ETA at the moment but I can confirm it will be re-introduced.

    Hello @pluginalliance,

    Just wanted to thank you once again for your feedback and to let you know that we have released v2.1 of Imagify.

    In this version, we have added the option to choose Lossless compression level snd to reoptimize images in the Bulk optimization page.

    We would highly appreciate if you give it another try and let us know what you think.
