Smart Map plugin how can I execute the code in the sidebar?

    I’m using the Smart Map plugin, which appears tobe a great somple way of displaying google maps.

    It works by putting this code in the post
    [googleMap]Width|Height|Zoom|control Type|show Type|Location info|Descripton[/googleMap]

    I want to put the map in the sidebar div by putting the above in a custom field. It doesn’t sem to work – is there another way?
