    Hi!

    I’m looking for this answer: Is it possible to add Smart Subscription Buttons through this plugin? We’ve added a single subscription plan in Paypal (since getting approved for reference transaction is a big if and will take ages..). Now We’re wondering how to integrate this button through woocommerce so everything is tracked properly.

    Hi @softliner,

    PayPal Subscription Buttons are not yet supported with PayPal Payments.
    Subscription support currently only exists via Vaulting, which requires Reference Transactions to process automatic payments for PayPal accounts: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/#subscriptions-faq
    Credit card renewal payments can be processed without Reference Transactions though.

    For the time being, you would need to implement the subscription button on the website yourself if you want to use it. PayPal Payments will eventually implement support for PayPal subscriptions but this is a work in progress and will take some time before we can share more details.
