The problem is clear, your username and password that you’ve entered on Gateway configuration are not valid.

This gateway doesn’t support any method for retrieving credential in API

Or we can just use the easysendsms gateway and have something to be done for it to work?

The problem comes from your Username/Password is not valid.
You must contact your gateway support.
And unfortunately, the gateway does not support any API credential to retrieving the Current balance, so the status is always Active when choosing the gateway if even the username/password put wrong.
Anyway, yes, you can choose another gateway as you want.
