    Hi Team,

    I am getting this error

Invalid “To” e-mail address “DENIED BY RULES” when WooCommerce is sending emails about the order.

Please let me know how I can fix it.

  • Make sure WooCommerce is sending emails using the same domain that you are using to send the emails (or the same address in some instances).
    and/or
Make sure you have SPF and DKIM records set up for the WooCommerce sending domain on the domain you are using to send.

This last one might sound weird but trust me, if you are sending from something like [email protected] and you are using mail.yourdomain.com to send, make sure you have a forward or a mail account set-up for [email protected]
Some abuse checks will verify that the [email protected] is a valid account and if it doesn’t exist, it will fail the test and bounce the emails.
(We hit this one a few times when we started using [email protected]
We had to actually create a forward for [email protected] to stop emails from being rejected during send).

    Excellent response @shinerweb! 🙂

As we’ve not heard back from @shoaibmt, I will go ahead and mark this issue as resolved.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim
