    Hey there, small question about the SMTP setting deprecated

    How the mail will be sended without the setting ?

    Cause for now I use :

    “Use this settings to send mail.”

    With the From Email & From Name.

    And with “Use the PHP mail() function to send emails.”

    If I check “Use WordPress general settings to send mail.”

    Got the error ” Invalid “From” e-mail address “” ”

    Just want to be ready when the tabs will disappears cause I need my user to receive this email when I import them.

    @holdusback,

    Please do not use this tab.

    Use better a WordPress SMTP plugin.

    It maybe will work but this tab is going to disappear in next versions.

    I allready have Post SMTP that work great.

    But without From Email & From Name I got the error ” Invalid “From” e-mail address “” ”
    When I send a test mail at the end of the tab.

    How can I do ?

    @holdusback,

    Please deactivate the SMTP settings from this plugin and do not use it.

    Use Post SMTP.

    Mails from this plugin will be delivered from this one.

    How to desactivate it ? What I have to tick ?

    I dont use SMTP settings, here is a screen :

    I cannot see the image.

    Anyway, you only has to choose “use default WordPress settings”.

    Thanks for your help.

    If I do that, got the error :

    Invalid “From” e-mail address “”

    To fix this I had to tick an option in post SMTP to force plugin to use my mail.

    @holdusback,

    This is a form validation message.

    As this feature is deprecated, the mail validation is incorrect.

    So fill all the data that trigger some error but please, choose:

     Use WordPress general settings to send mail.
