SMTP password not saving properly

    I am trying to set configure Knews to use SMTP, but whenever I save the information, I noticed that the characters in the Password field double in length. If I start with a 10-character password, hitting “Save” apparently saves a 20-digit password. Saving it again results in a 40-digit password, and so on. It seems to be impossible to save the real password, thus making it impossible to use the SMTP features of this plugin. Is this a known bug? Any plans for a fix?

    Thanks for the reply, but I can’t reproduce the problem now either! It just randomly stopped happening. I’m thinking maybe it was caused by something other than your plugin. I’ll update you if it rears its head again, though.

    any suspicious plugin incompatibility? Or maybe some browser issue with autocomplete feature?
