The plugin is compatible with the latest WordPress and PHP versions, even though sometimes there is a delay in updating the “tested up”, we try to apply any compatibility fix in case it is necessary within 24 hours https://wpmudev.com/terms-of-service/#plugins
Our QA team is already testing the compatibility on PHP 8.3 as well, we should soon fix any warning that we find out in the most recent version of PHP.
“If plugin cause any errors/notices in PHP 8.0/8.1/8.2, please let me know the stable version of the plugin and also update the compatible PHP & WP version.”
The only known warning is https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/deprecated-filter_sanitize_string/ which won’t affect the plugin performance, and the fix is coming to Smush 3.16 if everything works well in the development and tests.
