      Hi @ajit9639

I hope you are doing well.

Could you please check if the Smush > Lazy Load > Native Lazy Load option makes any difference in this issue?

      Best Regards

      Hello,

Since the latest update when we do a file upload on the site we received this error message:

Failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-smushit/core/class-file-system.php on line 17

      Please advise

      Hi @diegoxespinosa,

I hope you are doing well today!

The error message you are encountering indicates a corrupt installation/update of the plugin or the permissions issue on the server where your WordPress site is hosted. I suggest to remove the plugin completely and install from scratch. It is better if you can download it to your local storage and install using WordPress Dashboard->Plugins->Add New Plugin->Upload Plugin

      Kind regards,
      Zafer
