Snap theme help needed

    I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to put my portfolio website together without much progress. I’ve never used wordpress before and I”m finding it really confusing.

    When I look at the live demo, text appears when you put the cursor over the image. This isn’t happening on my site. Btw I don’t want to use any of the blog/post features – could this be the problem?

    I only want the page names to appear on the menu bar at the top, but the names are also appearing below on the page with the images.

    Yes, the transitions appear as a result of the Grid option for Posts.

    Did you get to browse the documentation which may give you a better insight into what is achievable?

    Not seeing anything to understand what you mean?

    Thank you for your reply. I’ve looked at the info on the website and watched some tutorials, but they say to add the images via a new post and I don’t want to use this feature. Arghh so confused. Would it make a difference if I was to download wordpress as an application?

    If you click on Novelty for example. The word Novelty appears on the bar at the top and on the page and again larger and in a different font below.

    My apologies for this, but you do seem to be struggling. Downloading the application won’t change anything (though it’s how to use WP professionally).

    I suggest you find some WP Training, either face-to-face or online. Or hire someone to help you out. I guess it depends on your objective.

    Your artwork looks stunning btw. Find someone technical to collaborate with!

    And I’ve realised that you’re asking questions in the wrong place as this is the Forum for the Customizr Theme, not Snap.
