Every time I design a site, there are a handful of plugins which are installed as standard to cover a range of subjects – security, SEO, stats, and custom CSS.

For custom CSS, I wouldn’t use any other plugin. Not only does it work perfectly, John has continued to add features as time has gone by, such as the code highlighter and error checking.
