Social Media Header

I’m trying to get my social media header to display on the right side of my header but am not having much success. This is the page I’m working on: http://goodrichresidential.com/

Here is the css I wrote:

#header_social {
	width: 940px;
	float: right;
	margin-right: 50px;
}

Also, when you first load the page, the Facebook “like” button moves down a few pixels when the page completely loads. Is there a way to prevent this? In addition, the page is taking longer to load with the new social header, is there a better way to implement this cutting down on the load time?
