    Hi,

    Thank you for this great plugin. Everything works OK after I’ve installed the plugin except for social media (Twitter, Facebook) previews… The image preview is broken and it either falls back to the website’s default image/logo or it’s not displayed.

    Is there a fix to also display image previews on posts that use AVIF images as the featured image? Or your plugin is intended only to allow the use of AVIF images within WordPress posts?

    Are these social media images being uploaded through WP media or a custom uploader ?

    No, we are talking about the featured images of posts. When I use WebP format, these are previewed automatically on social media (Twitter, Facebook) when pasting the post’s URL. The preview is fetched immediately along with the featured image.

    When using AVIF as a featured image in a post, these are no longer fetched when sharing the post in social media.

    Any recommandations? I believe that I should avoid using AVIF for featured images, right?

    I get it. It seems the AVIF format still not supported yet on twitter for example, you can check more there.

    WEBP would be much stable than AVIF regarding social media

    I understand. Thank you, I will continue to use your plugin only to insert AVIF images inside posts and use WebP for the featured image.
