You’ll note that the URL for that failed link is “localhost”. This looks like an error left over from moving from development to production. Install the plugin “better search replace”.
Search for http://localhost/ and replace with https://oakham.in/ in all tables.
Many thanks Steve.
But I have never created this website in localhost. Rather, I have created this one in live environment. Also this is almost two years old. Now sure why such issues are popping in now.
My admin panel has become extremely slow. I will try your fix and let you know.
Thanks for your time and help!
Looking more closely, I wonder… maybe something bad has happened.
Install the plugin “Wordfence” or “Malcare” and scan your site.
Hi Steve,
I believe so. Because I have just tried to search using the plugin you have suggested and it didn’t return any result in dry run.
I will scan the website now.
Thanks!
Hi Steve,
I have scanned via wordfence and it couldn’t complete the scan as the connection kept on dropping.
Not really sure how can I get out of this situation.
This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site. You can then use its admin bar menu to turn on/off plugins and themes one at a time.

Ohh I just got royally xxxxx up!
I enabled the troubleshoot mode and then clicked on “return to dashboard”, Bang!!!!! The website isn’t loading anymore!

Ok! It seems to be back again!
