Solves Gutenberg nightmare… for now

I wish WordPress would reverse their decision to make Gutenberg standard. It should have been a plugin, not part of the core.

We develop content managed websites for clients using WordPress and ACF. We have absolutely no requirement for Gutenberg, and I’m sure there are a lot of other developers out there who feel the same.

If you’re looking for a Wix or Squarespace replacement then maybe WordPress with Gutenberg is an alternative, but lots of WordPress developers are beyond the stage of creating little homespun blogs.

The day that this plugin is made obsolete and Gutenberg is well and truly forced upon us, will be the day that we abandon WordPress.
