Your shortcodes don’t get evaluated at all. You most probably typed it in the Visual mode of the editor.
Make sure you switch the editor to Text mode and try re-typing the shortcode.

I retyped [tabs border_color=”#ffffff”] and [/tabs] in the Text mode and the border color is still in light blue.
Why isn’t the border color changed?
Ok, I can now see the actual output of the shortcodes.
It seems that it’s a problem of the plugin.
I’ll push an update later today.
