Some Basic Explanation of WordPress Settings

    Could some body plainly explain what is what?

    I mean what is:

    WordPress address (URL) for what is it Responsible?

    and

    Site address (URL) for what is it Responsible?

    I couldn’t find anything about that neither in google nor in codex.

    Why i am asking?

    Well, first of all i want to know how this thing works.

    Secondly, I’ve installed a theme on my blog created few pages, and can’t point the domain to be a home page. What i get when i type the url is a theme with nothing on it.

    WordPress address: Main posts page
    Site address: Home page

    These may, or may not, be the same depending upon the specifics of your WP install.

    What does main posts page mean?

    And how do i fix the issue with my theme? I use Suffusion…

    What does main posts page mean?

    The page that displays all of your posts in date order – usually with the most recent post first. In WP sites that do not use a static front page, this would be your front page.
