some basic questions regarding set up (not install)

    Hi,

    I love the concept of the plugin and I am certain it will help me insanely, but I have a few questions, so I can set up the plugin correctly.

    For example the plugin “regenerate thumbnails”: its a plugin that only works in the dashboard and to resize / regenerate thumbnails. If I globally turn it off and also for admin, will it still work? Or if I turn it off globally and keep admin, will it not load on regular sites?

    The other one is All In One SEO. It uses about 30% of my resources, so I want to disable it globally. Does it mean it will remove all the meta data and titles?
    Will I still be able to add titles and keywords in the dashboard / post / page?

    You see where I am going with this?

    I hope you can give me some insights, as the documentation is mainly on how to turn it on/off, but not as much as what a setting does and how it effects site options and usage.

    If you globally disable regenerate thumbnails and you have the admin option under selective plugin loading enabled it will disable the plugin for the entire site. Front end and admin. If you don’t have the admin option enabled it will only be disabled on the front end. You can also globally disable it and enable it for a specific url using a plugin filter in the admin and it would only be active on that one url.

    Yes if you disable all in one seo it will no longer add meta tags. If you don’t have it disabled for the admin you will still be able to change the settings for it but it will have no affect on the front end since the code for the plugin will never be executed.
