Hi Victor307, I appreciate the report. In order to do anything about it, I need to know the actual URLs that are getting blocked (false positives). That way I can replicate the issue locally and provide a solution asap. Thank you.
Let me know if any questions about this, or if I can provide any further infos.

Thanks Victor307. To resolve the issue, you can install the custom BBQ plugin. Here (.zip file download, ~800 bytes) is a prepared copy specific for this case. Just like BBQ, activate and done. Let me know if any questions.

Great Jeff, that solved the issue!
One last question would be, how to update the plugin in the future?

When updates come available in the future, I will install the updates for the BBQ Firewall plugin, like I update all my plugins installed from the WordPress repository.
Should I maybe update the BBQ Firewall Whitelist plugin (manually) in the future?
Or am I correct that I only need to update the BBQ Firewall plugin?
Only the main BBQ plugin needs updating. The custom plugin is very simple, only a few lines weighing less than 1 KB. So there should be no reason to update, unless you want to add other patterns, as explained in the related/linked article.
