    I’ve been doing some tests..

    [brid video=”01234″ player=”01234″ title=”what’s this“]

    that title, what is it for? tried changing that to something else, and it has no effect what so ever… what i put there is not even showing on the html source, or maybe it helps video SEO, something like that? i might just remove that.. the shorter the better right?

    next question..

    Is there a way to mask my video? i mean the path/source …

    this video=”01234″ , I tried to change some numbers and well, some OTHER guys video is there… i mean i can play other peoples video on my site.

    use case question: what if i tried one of your plans? meaning brid will encode and/or add advertisements on my videos right? now can other people play that video, because i think they can/might…

    I’m planing to use brid as my primary video player on my next project.. other than embed code and shortcodes. is there any other? like php that i can use on templates…

    that’s all for now..gonna try to use custom fields with brid now… thanks in advance

    Hi,

    The Title attribute in Brid’s shortcode is only for show. You can omit it if you want but we add it so the user knows what video is going to be embedded as the video ID is not the best way to show this information.

    We don’t provide any way to mask your URL to your video files. This must be done on your end as there is no way for us to mask third party URL’s.

    A check for video ID’s is already in our dev queue so in the future this will not be possible.

    Our paid plans are not tied to advertisements. The paid plans mostly provide encoding and video hosting and some other perks. We give advertisements to pubs no matter their plan but we do have some requirements beforehand. Although there could be a possibility that others may play your video, in reality this is highly unlikely, and furthermore we’ll add an additional security measure so that this can never happen.

    If you login into the Brid CMS and grab an embed code from there, you can easily create a custom PHP template with this embed code as a starting point. Only a couple of parameters are dynamic so it should pretty easy to create a custom PHP template.
    We also have a backend PHP API which you can use to sync up.
