Some strange coding problem (excerpt) Please help…

Hi!
On my site: http://www.holten-motorsport.no i have this blog update on the right side. The index.php and the page/single.php is getting the same content for blog (homesidebar.php). But the frontpage shows the excerpt of the post in the blog, while at my pages it shows the whole post in the blog.
Please look at my homepage, easyer to understand.
I want the blog sidebar to appear the same on every page on my site, like on my index.php

i can’t reproduce your problem – there is always only the excerpt of the posts in the right sidebar (on the front page, on a static page, on single posts, on archive pages ..);

Look again please, see post number 4 from top, with title: “TV-intervju
“. The other blog posts dont have more text.

next question:
is the excerpt length changed or set, for instance in functions.php or with a plugin?
possibly conditional on the template it is in?

what is the code of functions.php ? (pastebin please …)

Yes, i think the lenght is set in functions.php, i will post it when im home from work 🙂

i come to the conclusion that i have no idea why this is happening.

on my own site, i would try to narrow in on the possible cause – with trial-and-error; by commenting suspicious passages of code, etc.

however, here, i pass … 🙁
