    Hello,

I’m trying to translate your plugin to Mexican Spanish. Everything is translating well, except for the prep time, cook time, additional time and days/hours/minutes strings. It is odd because the yield and total time strings do show their translations. I’ve followed the instructions you’ve suggested in other similar posts.

I have tried using POEdit and Loco Translate with the same results.

Could you please help me figure out why these strings are not translating?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay in response! Translating time labels is tricky, since they’re values in your card and not just texts within templates. Here’s a helpdesk article that explains exactly how to provide translations for this text.

Thanks, and let us know if you have questions!

Thank you, Ethan! Great article. Worked perfectly. Following the reasoning of the article, is there any way to translate it per recipe?

For example, for the popsicles it would be freeze time. But what if I’m making a mushroom cream soup and it needs to say cooking time instead?

Thank you again and have a great day 🙂

    Hi Delie,

Sure – in the recipe editor, the labels for the time inputs are text fields, so you can change them to whatever makes the most sense for that recipe.

    Always happy to help!
